I wrote the main acoustic riff when I was 15 years old for a girl because I was always playing guitar for her over the phone. This song reminds me that even though we spent a lot of our teenage years being angry and confused, above all, those years were lighthearted and we felt the time fleeting past. We were hopeful, bored, adventurous and vibrant. We were free.
