i recorded this literally 10 minutes after tsunami with birds. it was after a night of no sleep, so I was in a calm exhaustion. i was basically half-asleep, wholly expecting to pass out right after the song was over. i was so stoked on the takes that I just uploaded them and started mixing furiously.

this is probably the most re-uploaded song Sleepy G has, more than any other I have reworked and re-envisioned it, and I only discover new things about the song the longer I spend with it. We even sang it as my sister walked the aisle at her wedding.

but this is definitely the simplest version. I just love playing this song.
